JPMorgan Appoints New Corporate Banking Co-Heads in U.S.

JPMorgan Chase appointed Mike Lister and Brennan Spry to lead its North America corporate banking division through an internal communication. The bank maintains its Commercial and Investment Banking (CIB) division through this leadership transition while the division achieved strong second-quarter financial results.

Lister managed the natural resources group at the bank before taking on his new role as co-head of diversified industries segment within global corporate banking. The two executives will direct North American business operations in healthcare technology and real estate sectors.

The CIB unit at JPMorgan Chase achieved $6.65 billion in net income during the last quarter because of its strong investment banking and trading activities. The division provides services to more than 7,000 clients across the globe who include multinational corporations and large financial institutions.

The appointments demonstrate JPMorgan’s commitment to build stronger client connections while maintaining market leadership in corporate banking. The leadership appointment demonstrates both executives’ strong leadership abilities and their deep understanding of their respective sectors.
